Deepfakes turn up at the Inpho Venture Summit

Inkan.link was selected to take part in the Inpho Venture Summit, an invitation-only gathering of limited partners, investors and large corporates around breakthrough technologies. The format requires the selected startups to present their work live before that audience.
A signal picked up during the event
The programme focused mainly on energy, industry and healthcare. The threat of deepfakes and AI was not on it.
It came up three times all the same, spontaneously, from different investors, across the twenty-four hours of the summit, each time with the same concern about the financial sector’s exposure. When a subject absent from the programme returns three times of its own accord, it points to a real concern rather than a marketing cycle.
What that says about the moment
The pattern matches what we see among finance teams: the question is no longer whether the threat is credible, but what to put in place. The answer we carry is one shift, verify the real requester at the moment of the order rather than try to recognise a fake.

How Sealfie works sets out that shift in three steps.
