Techniques de l’Ingénieur ran an interview about Sealfie. The review writes for an engineering readership, which made it possible to get into the mechanism rather than staying on usage.

The principle, in one sentence

Sealfie validates an exchange by aggregating the traces each involved system leaves at the moment it acts: the requester’s phone, their mobile carrier, the device’s secure element. None of those sources is sufficient alone, and an attacker would have to forge all of them at the same instant.

That is what separates the approach from a password check or a callback, each of which rests on a single corruptible factor.
